all sealed rds now. Historic Hill End town to wander before drinks with town history markers everywhere. Usually lots of motorbike riders here especially weekends so book.
Careful on the curves between Sofala and Hill End for rock falls. Great scenery.
Mudgee also a good overnight spot with lots more comfy overnight spots to stop whereas Hill End only has one 1 to 2 star spot.
Mudgee rd to Lithgow is quite fast but well policed.
Tarana pub worth a refreshment stop.
