The Toll Road leading up to The Dachstein Glacier Cable Car. Stunning scenery and a winding road that leads up to The Dachstein Glacier Cable Car from The Ramsau Plateau. Very popular with tourists and coaches but there are plenty of overtaking opportunities. This is not one for anyone expecting a fast run but the scenery is spectacular. Plenty of parking and cafes at the top. Take the Cable Car to the top, from 1600 to 2700m unsupported, and enjoy the breath taking scenery for 360 degrees. It is an amazing view.The Toll Road was €6,- in 2011 and the cable car was expensive at €31,- which includes the toll road. Stay at a Schladming Dachstein Summer Card Partner participating establishment in the area and it is free with The Summer Card.I only have a video of going up in the winter on a Quad (attached) but will film it again this summer (2012).
