Rode this route on May 13/ 2017... It was a nice day weather wise. Our wet spring has been kind to hwy 118... Road was quite clean few if any sand or gravel spots... Some dirt road junctions have debris, but visible well in advance. 118 a great road... BTW a great Thai restaurant in Minden, closed when I drove by... There was a flood in town only last week... But it looks to be recovering and no stress to tarmac visible. GaaGi
