This is a great ride! The scenery especially- you need to be careful not to get lost staring at it.. The road in parts is slightly dodgy, but overall, this is a really nice route, hardly any trafiic when I did it (on a Sunday). Definitely worth doing!

I didnt like this road at all... Very wobbly road with narrow corners. Not very pleasent with a sportsbike, maybe its nicer with touringbike.
A high, remote, wild, narrow, slippery pass through the Parc Mercantour that is great fun! Little traffic, lots of scenery, lots of entertainment. In places it feels like a paved motocross track! Don't screw up!The scenery is grand, an there is a delightful restaurant above Entraunes that is worth a stop, even if only for a coffee. At the northern end is the town of Barcelonette, a very sporty town with a strong Mexican (yes, that's right) flavor. Nice inns and restaurants and lots to do. Also with quick access to the Col d'Allos, Col de Vars, and the Col de la Bonette.
