The only bad thing about this road is that the road surface is poor after the top of the mountain on the way to Deir El Ahmar and eventually Baalbek.
Great half-day ride. Mainly through green hills, then rocky mountains. The ride starts with sweeping bends but as the road gets narrower (and less travelled) the bends turn to tight corners. Views are stunning from the top of the mountain. Bcharre and Ehden on the way are great places for a lunch break. The destination, Deir el Ahmar, has an interesting church.
