Rode this route recently, unfortunately the poor winter weather has damaged the surface quite a bit, especially under overhanging trees, with pot holes and large cracks appearing and the general surface condition has become very poor, otherwise the road is brilliant.

Once onto the B4340 the road is brilliant,there are a couple of 90 degree bends but mostly great with excelent road surface.Watch out for local boy racers,there is a rally sport centre at Pontrhydyfendigaid.
