Can start from either the north end of the A470 at Brecon then head south. Storey Arms has a couple of burger vans for refreshment stops. Heading south on the A470 a resevoir on the right followed by a right hand turn across the busy A470 across a cattle grid and an uphill climb across moorland with great views ahead, there can be sheep loitering at the roadside BE AWARE! This road heads across to Penderyn, home of Welsh Whisky and then onto the roundabout at Hirwaun and the Heads of the Valleys road. Options from here then to head east or west.
