This is a good bit of fast road but theScot is right about Police, they love this road! As a variation, try starting out from Old Whittington along the B6050 through Cutthorpe, rejoining the main route at the Robin Hood Pub. Poorer road surface but lots of bends and less law.

Fast road through nice scenary, although it has something of a track record for accidents so be careful and watch for police.
