This route does combines some great routes, however roads near Driffield are in a terrible state which must be caused by all the HGV's and tractors using it throughout the week. Also frustrating loooooong queues of cars stuck behind lorries too frightened to overtake.

A half day trip that's great in any weather. Starting and ending in Harrogate with a stop off in Filey at the cafe at the Beach. Harrogate-Wetherby-Rufforth-Stamford Bridge-Wetwang-Bridlington-Filey-Scarborough-WhitbyFylingdales-Pickering-Helmsley-Thirsk-Ripon-Harrogate. The best bits in my opinion Stamford to Brid , and Scarborough to Whitby to Pickering
