The start of WA129 out of Asotin is awesome with lots of sharp curves, the only draw back is the traffic can sometimes be a challenge. Once on top the road flattens out and you are in farm country, with long stretches of straight road. Once you reach Anatone you start into more forested areas a clime to Rattlesnake Ridge. Rattlesnake Ridge has plenty of sweeping curves with some switchbacks, the decent down Rattlesnake Ridge is awesome, you bottom out in a canyon along Rattlesnake Creek then cross the Grande Ronde River at Boggan´s Oasis. From here you slowly clime out of the canyon headed to Oregon. This ride is 10 out of 10 in my book, I enjoy riding this route every time I´m in the area.
Nice road, mixed bag of sections. Mostly long stretches of lodge-pole pine (I think) and good (mostly) straight straight aways. Some sections of great turns as well. Good free camping on BLM land in middle of section. Nice ride but I wouldn´t sim for it as a destination ride.
Some long straights, only enhance the pleasure of some sweet corners and dropping in and out of desert valleys.
Great road, loads of corners (all kinds) and virtually no one around. A real treat.
