If you are in the area of Mariazell & Admont then this road is a must. It is a valley road basically following the river Salza and winds its way through very picturesque scenery with the white water of the river, towering canyon sides and only a couple of pretty villages to slow you down.At around 50km in length with a mixture of straights, fast and slow corners and on the whole a very good road surface it is a pleasure to ride whether on a Cruiser, Adventure or Sports bike. Large sections are a brand new surface as of summer 2012. Other sections look bad on first glance but are actually very smooth. Stop in Wildalpen for fuel and some fantastic ice cream at the hotel next door. The area is very popular with canoeists and there are several camp sites along the river.Video to follow.
