Travel from the Old Royal Capital of Montenegro Cetinje. Cetinje itself has a great no vehicle walkway thru the center with lots of coffee bars to sit and watch the world go by. Or take a tour of the old royal palaces around the city. There is a map and the tour is well marked. The ride to Njegusi is thru the Lovcen National Park its a spectacular ride and Njegusi is the home of the best smoked ham and cheeses reputedly in the whole of the Balkan area. Then make a simple local cheese that can be bought quite inexpensively in the local grocery shop, it looks cake shaped and is pale. The ham comes in hocks or you can buy smaller peices also. Probably at some point a local will invite you into his shed where many of the hocks are hanging up - aging....
