The road from Høydalsmo to Dalen is spectuacular, the rest is also very good!
First part of Suleskarvegen ( www.suleskarvegen.no ). Quite scenic, especially going down the hairpins to Dalen (Tokke). Plenty of corners of all types and mostly decent surface though some less good sections.
Very nice route, with lots of great scenery (mountain lakes, valley gorges, waterfalls, etc). You can stop in Dalen and stay at the historical hotel, built in a Dragon/Fairytale-style www.dalenhotel.no.
A view down into Dalen. You can see the road zig-zag its way up on the other side of the valley.
This is the Eidsborg church, in Lårdal (Lår Valley) in Telemark. This is a small wooden church, of a type named stav-churches. The style of building churces is particularily Norwegian, and some say it is the only Norwegian contribution to the history of architecture. The church was built at the beginning of the 13th century.
