A great route, spoilt only by the Buckley/Welshpool section. Something like Buckley/Llandegla/Corwen/Bala for would remove dull sections and add further interest to a stunning ride in spectacular scenery.
Spectacular scenery, and the highlight of the ride was coming up over a crest and coming face to face with a hovering Red Kite, time stood still for a moment. Fantastic road, ride, scenery, weather (in May 2011) FJ1200, full luggage, pillion, brilliant day out.
