Its far better than the m-way !!! I know this rd very well living in ashford I normally find myself starting/finishing days out on it !! Mostly long sweeping very fast bends thiers only a couple of slower bends near maidstone watch out for HGVs turning in Lenham they don seem to b very patiant !!
A20 from ashford to maidstone 15mins, much better than M20, there a few straights, but is mostly open long sweepers that can carry very fast speed, some nice cambered corners aswell just ot keep u on ur toes. also towards maidstone things just tighten up just right. can get busy, but that adds to the challenge, plenty of overtake sections.
Ashford to the M20, much better than taking the motorway option.
You even start this run a bit earlier by Leeds Castle and take in the bends there by the pub and turn off to Grafty Green...
A fast A-Road with quite a lot of hazards to watch out for when busy. On a sunny Sunday afternoon (when I rode it) it was peaceful but I was mindful of the many junctions. If quiet here it is possible to get a good run at some high speed corners. Still a more pleasant alternative to the M20
