A favourite tea time blast. Once of the main A71, the road to Muirkirk is fun, undulating, sweepy corners. Turn Left in Muirkirk and blast all the way along to the hydford bridge, a couple of tightening corners with some off set cambers to keep you on your toes. Biggar is a grest place for a coffee, chips or an ice cream. Then head north to Carnwath. This road was used for the filming of David Coultards road safety advert. This is my favourite road in the area. So good you will want to ride it agsin, and its not long so why not. Over themhill to forth, this road rollercoasters its way along while giving an awesome view over Lanarkshire. A fun route that will chase away your post week blues.
