Empty, flat road with reasonable surface, quite a few nice corners and reasonable visibility. There can be a few trucks which are not that easy to pass but general low volume of traffic makes this tolerable. Road has a nice flow and a selection of tight medium speed bends that are great fun, very good biking route
Although a secondary road, usually unknown to foreign tourists, this is No. 1 biking road in Romania for its all sorts of countless twisties (there is only one road passing by Anina that may challenge its first rank in this respect), with good asphalt. Medium scenery. Maintain some reserve for in-coming drivers possibly cutting lanes. Ride during week days, because heavy traffic is diverted on this road during weekends. You may want to visit the old city of Brasov (in the center – ask for “Piata Sfatului†or “Biserica Neagraâ€). Enjoy it!
