This is a great road with lots of fun corners and it will test your riding skills. But for the love of god watch out for debri in the road. Some of the locals who live here throw debri/sand/rocks in the road on purpose to get bikers to slow down or purposely see a crash. Most of them understand where they live (kind of like living on a golf course, you take the bad with the good) but some are very angry. Other than that it has some of the best fun corners in the area.
If in the Floral City area, you need to take a trip back on E. Gobbler Drive for 12 miles of fun. You pick up the Gobbler on US41 just north of Floral City (heads east). This route attaches nicely to some other routes in the area and listed on this board so tack it on your next loop in the area. The Gobbler offers up great scenery, lots of curves, and many ninety-degree turns. This is a very rural road so keep your eyes peeled for road debris like sand and leaves that may have blown on the road. You'll see a lot of bikes back in here as this is the home of the Sleepy Hollow Tavern, the famous Florida Biker spot with the iconic catch-phrase What happens in the pasture, stays in the pasture! Stop in for great bar-b-que.
