Very rural and quite quiet a mix of longish narrow straight sections and a veriety of corners starting with longer flowing open corners on a good surface as you ascend then gradually becoming tighter. Visibility mostly good with some spectacular vistas and few actual hazards. Surface is mostly good with some localsised poor sections. Corners on this stretch are somewhat more open than some of the other passes which makes the normal oncoming car surprises somewhat less on this route
